What Is An Energy Kinesiology Balance?

An energy kinesiology balance is a session using muscle testing to detect and evaluate energetic imbalances in the body.  In the 1960’s, Dr. George Goodheart, D.C., Father of Applied Kinesiology, discovered that such imbalances could be released using acupressure, movement, and gentle touch of reflex and acupuncture points.  Dr. Goodheart has spent a lifetime researching, developing, and teaching numerous kinesiology techniques to balance the body.

How Can I Prepare For a Balance?

An initial 15 minute consultation is recommended to discuss whether or not an energy balance is something a person wishes to pursue. There is never a charge for this. Paperwork is filled out by the client before the first session. 


What Can I Expect In A Session?

Balances last from one to 2 hours. The first session is a discussion of the client’s health history, concerns, and goals. Each balance is individualized according to the person’s needs. 

In the sessions gentle muscle testing is used, usually with an arm or leg. Easy-to-learn energy tapping points and reflex points are taught, as well as individualized affirmations, goal setting, and certain movements and exercises. The client remains fully clothed and is usually seated, sometimes standing, or lying down during a session. 

Results are usually felt immediately and are cumulative over time. The number of sessions is an individual choice, dependent upon a person’s particular needs and goals. All balances are confidential.
